InCharge is an initiative by Vattenfall, part of a commitment to sustainable transportation. The vision is a zero emission, fossil fuel-free society within a generation's time. The end-to-end EV charging services are expanding fast in the Nordics, Germany and the Netherlands. End-to-end service from infrastructure and hardware installation to software and connected cloud services.

My role in Vattenfall InCharge (E-mobility) has covered a wide range of design work from the period of year 2017 to 2020. It started with concept redesigning for the InCharge portal and later on I was invited to build a new multi-national e-commerce website together with an international teams of Marketing managers, Product Owners and developers based in Germany, Sweden, The Netherlands and Poland.

For InCharge website, my role includes defining the scope of the project by conducting workshops with stakeholders to define the use case of the website when there was no Product Owner in presence. With limited resource, I had to conduct my own research to identify user personas and customer journeys for this EV industry and market that is rapidly changing all the time.
When the project slowly matured with established teams and roles, I work closely together with Product Owner to establish the e-commerce solutions to sell EV charging solutions to B2C and B2B markets across 4 countries. Rapid prototyping, identify business opportunities and requirements, and propose design on how to convert better in the sales are my focus in this project. However, I was involved with the whole site design working with marketeers and brands to improve overall site contents to improve conversion as well.
I learned a lot about Product Owner's role with preparing business case, manage requirements and stakeholders on top of working with Customer Relationship Management (CRM), web conversions and data analytics. I appreciate the multi-cultural teams and ways of working in the company.

This website is built on CMS Umbraco and designed with Sketch and Adobe suites.
